What an inspiring place!  The Findhorn Community truly manages to merge modern ecological design with sympathetic principles and realistic objectives.  Set on the beautiful Moray Coast, the community is fringed by pine forest and meadowland.  The buildings are all unique and are designed to exceptionally high environmental standards without losing charm and character.  I was particularly impressed with the in-house natural sewage works (or the Jobby Factory as S renamed it), biomass boiler, wind farm and vegetable patches.  Maybe, just maybe, I’ll end up tending my own veggie patch here one day!
